Hi. I just found your post about Javascript and Proxibid. I've been unable to bid on Proxibid ever since I got my new Mac with Leopard (10.5.8) OS. I've written to Proxibid, but they tell me it's an Apple problem or a javascript problem, but no suggestions.

Do you have any suggestions to offer a Proxibidder going through withdrawals? :)
Thanks!
Robyn

I, too, am a big fan of LogMeIn and intend to cover it here quite soon. I'm surprised I haven't tried it yet with Chrome. I guess it's something that I don't use regularly but when I use it it's pretty crucial that it works. Thanks for the heads-up, Stuart.

LogMeIn (http://logmein.com/) doesn't work under Chrome either. LogMeIn uses an ActiveX control for IE and Java for other browsers. This doesn't look to be caused by the Java version (indeed, I installed the version you mention in your blog post), but rather by the verification process LogMeIn uses. Considering Chrome is still in Beta and the Java software is a Release Candidate, I'm sure they will address the plugin incompatibilities in future releases. In the meantime, I simply fire up FireFox to use LogMeIn for my remote administration tasks.
