LogMeIn uses an ActiveX control for IE and Java for other browsers. This doesn't look to be caused by the Java version (indeed, I installed the version you mention in your blog post), but rather by the verification process LogMeIn uses. Considering Chrome is still in Beta and the Java software is a Release Candidate, I'm sure they will address the plugin incompatibilities in future releases. In the meantime, I simply fire up FireFox to use LogMeIn for my remote administration tasks. LogMeIn (http://logmein.com/) doesn’t work under Chrome either.
